We attempted another camping trip and this time we were successful. Of course it helped that we took the Misner's camper and Nate could sleep in a pack and play. It seems that he needs four walls around him to be able to go to sleep. This was such a fun trip. We went up to Mud Springs at Glade Park which is about 45 minutes from our house. Its really pretty up there. We had a beautiful view, enjoyed some good food, a little exploring and some seriously cold and muddy swimming!
She loves to be a big girl and follow her daddy around:)
Not a bad view, huh?
Jon grilled burgers for our dinner. They were very good!

Enjoying the sunset
The next morning we enjoyed some breakfast burritos with Kristine's homemade salsa. Thankfully Jon doesn't mind feeding Nate, pretty much every time he is around. They are pretty good buddies and I'm glad to have a break:)
We went exploring while Nate took a nap in the camper
The guys played a game of corn-hole, oh the things you can do if you car camp and have a camper
And this is why we didn't have to go home in the middle of the night. Of course the next morning, Major woke up early and started wagging his tail on the pack and play, which woke Nate up, then us,
and Alina, etc.
We tried "swimming" at one of the reservoirs. Lets just say it hasn't rained in a while, so it was more like sinking in mud with freezing water. Nate did like splashing. Alina and I watched:)
I guess we can camp as long as we can put a pack and play some where. Maybe by next year he can learn to sleep without the comfort of being confined by four walls.

Looks like a fun trip
