So this happened...
Can't believe she finished Kindergarten! We are so thankful for such a wonderful first year of school. Alina had one of the best teachers should could have asked for! She loved the kids, got them excited and taught them so much. Alina made several good friends, learned to read, was student of the month, learned to do the monkey bars, found out what a school cafeteria is like and so much more. She was very sad that summer was here and she would miss her friends and teachers, but I think she'll get used to the idea of some time off;) We are looking forward to another great year starting in August!

Sushi
A few years ago we learned how to make our own sushi at home and have really enjoyed doing that, especially when we have friends over. Last weekend some friends were in town visiting and several of us got together and had a sushi rolling and games party at our house. Everyone had a great time, even most of the kids liked the sushi (we make small rolls with imitation crab meat for them). My friend Megan (who is a photographer) took some great pictures of our sushi night and I took some pretty standard ones with my phone.
Matt, Justin and Sam were our expert sushi rollers
These little divas love their sushi!
Megan's pictures, between her pics and 'my' food we should almost start a food blog!

Sprinklers
Almost every warm day so far, the kids have asked if they could run through the sprinklers. I try to tell them that it really isn't that hot yet, and they would actually be cold if they got all wet right now. Also, we don't have the sprinkler or grass up yet. Well, the other day the neighbors had their sprinklers on and quite a bit was going on the sidewalk, so I let them run through those a few times and they thought it was the funnest thing ever!
