At the old ball game...

Tonight we got to see our friends Brody and Alaina (I know, very close, all the people at church are confused) play t-ball.  It was a beautiful evening to be outside and we even got to visit with our friends the Vaughns who moved to the Denver area in December.  It was a wonderful time!

Adam, Ashley and the kids

Our kids love to play with all of our friends and our friends really seem to love our kids.  Here is some evidence: Alina and Nate convinced Ashely to carry them both and run uphill and down while we were watching the boys play soccer.

When they would get to the bottom, Nate would just reach up to Ashley and say "more, more!"


This past Sunday, we got to go with Adam and Ashley to their church and witness their Con-validation.  It was really a sweet time to spend with our friends and their parents.

Adam (in the background) was not dreading it as this picture seems to suggest:), he was just checking the time.

Baby Jones

We are so excited that our friends, Jake and Nikki will be having a baby boy in July!  This past weekend Ashley and I put on a fun, hunting-themed baby shower for them at our house. 

We made "baby burgers" (sliders) of different game meats, deer, elk, wild boar and we had beef and boca for our vegetarian friends.

We had lots of friends from work come out and Ashley and I were very pleased with how things turned out.  It was good to bless the Jones with gifts for their baby boy!
