Pumpkin Patch

Today Alina's class got to go to a little pumpkin patch at a church here in town.  Even though she doesn't usually go to school on Wednesdays, we got to meet up with her class.  There is this really amazing pumpkin patch out in Fruita, but thats too expensive and far for the preschool, but this was really cute and they got to do some fun activities.  Nate got to go along too:)

The kids got to hold some cool winged gourds, then hear a story about the "Stubborn Pumpkin" and then sing "10 Little Pumpkins."

Then they got to make a fun craft

Next we played outside in the pumpkin maze and on the playground.  Isn't this the cutest little pumpkin you've ever seen?

I love how they love each other:)

Although you can't see her, this is Alina's Busy Bees class (someone took the picture for me as I was playing with Nate on the playground, oh well).

Both kids really enjoyed the trip and we brought home a couple of small pumpkins.  Next year we may try and make it out to Fruita for the "big" pumpkin patch, but this was good enough for now.
