Finally...

we have a house! Well, at least we have an actual contract on a house. It took one month, four different houses, and seven offers (since we upped our offers a couple of times on some of the houses) but we finally got one! It is a smaller house than we had been looking for, but it will work for us for at least the next couple of years. It is near the school in the downtown area still, which we had really wanted. I can walk with the kids to at least one park, but there's also Lincoln Park downtown that is fairly close. Justin will be less than a mile from work. This house doesn't need much work at all, just some cosmetic things we want to do to improve the house. Our anticipated closing date is September 9th. Right now, we are planning for me and the kids, along with Justin's mom to go to Grand Junction the 7th and get there the 8th. It will be great to be all together under one roof (our own!) again.
