A few days before Christmas we let out our big surprise, baby #3 is on the way!
We had a nice Christmas at home by ourselves. We missed being with family but enjoyed a slower schedule and time together. We did have some friends come over for Christmas lunch.
Kids have had so much fun with four wheelers, scooters, mermaids and rescue bots!
On New Year's Day we enjoyed southern-good-luck meal of hoppin john and collard greens with a few friends and watched a lot of football!
Yesterday we celebrated Alina's 5th birthday! Can't believe how big she is already! She and I went to see Frozen and then met the guys for dinner at Famous Dave's, or as she says "the piggie place." Then she opened her presents from family. This Saturday we will have a birthday party for her with a few of her little girl friends.
I made this nightgown for Alina as my first real sewing project. My friend Sharrie taught me how to use a pattern and I was able to do this with her coaching. It was a lot of fun and she loves how it feels just like a princess nightgown:)
