We were so happy to get to go to Midland on this visit and see Grandma Eva. She had not yet had a chance to meet Nathanael, so we were super excited about that!
Nate and Grandma at the duck park/pond
And what is a visit to Grandma's without a game of SkipBo? Or 3:)
How do you beat the Texas heat, water of course!
At Rainforest Cafe in Grapevine Mills. This was a fun trip, even if the animals scared Alina a bit:)
On to Legoland. We had a rough start (a bit to loud and dark for our little princess) but then really enjoyed playing with all the legos!
The coolest part was the model of the entire DFW area. We spent a lot of time looking at all the details. It looks real doesn't it? All made of legos!
Dreaming about going to a real Cowboys game:)
Dealy Plaza
Life size Dirk was really cool!
We got to spend some time with Kinsey and Ben (and Cindy and Craig of course!) Alina really loves Kinsey, cause she's a big girl. They did their nails:)
Love these kids!
At Nina's house we spent every minute we could in the pool! Alina is really comfortable with the water now and enjoys swimming (especially with Lily!)
What cute girls we have:)
Always playing!
Mom, me, Cindy and Kinsey
Always together:)
We had fun playing games, some SkipBo, Apples to Apples and of course Settlers!
The food in Texas is just better, that's all there is too it. Nate thinks Babe's is pretty good!
A trip to Cabela's, or as the kids were probably thinking a zoo (with dead animals, but whatever)
Time with Granny!
Goodbyes are hard to do:(
See you next time Texas!
