Tea Party

This past Saturday we went to a Tea Party put on by the ladies at church to benefit Japan. Our associate pastor, Dave and his wife Barb (playing guitar below) were missionaries there for ten years, so it is near and dear to them. Alina and I had a nice time talking to the ladies, eating yummy food, buying cute crafts made by ladies at our church and playing dress up with barbies:)

We sang "God is so good" in Japanese

The Barbie dress up clothes were all handmade by the mom of the lady who hosted the event in her backyard. They were amazing. The girls could take one home if they filled out a card for children in Japan and dropped a donation in the piggy bank. Alina picked out a beautiful, pink evening gown. Now we need to go buy a Barbie:)

She enjoyed the cookies as much as playing dress-up!

The next day Nathanael, Alina and I had our own tea party in her room. We first ate veggies and then cookies. Nathanael even held his own tea cup:) I think we are going to have a lot of fun with this little boy!
