Its fun living in a place where snow is just part of a normal winter. We had some good snow in early December, and the schools even closed for one day, only the second time in 20 years that's happened apparently! Then we were pretty dry for a long stretch, until last Friday. It snowed several inches here in the valley on Friday and then started up again last night. We had several more inches today and no real sign of stopping with snow in the forecast throughout the weekend. Nothing closed though, we just all got up and drove (some of us rather cautiously) through several inches of snow until it melted on the roads in the late morning. How's a southern girl supposed to drive in this? Carefully. This is our alley though, the roads were a bit more traveled so less snowy, but I didn't dare stop to take a picture.
We should have some more snow this week, which means more shoveling, snow man building, slow driving, and lots of fresh powder on the slopes!
