A month of travels

We took a very long trip this summer to Texas and South Carolina and around our own beautiful Colorado.  We had so much fun visiting with family and friends and then checking out new places around us here.  Here are a few pictures that highlight our time on the road.

Its always so nice to spend time with Lily! These three kids love each other so much and play constantly.

We also got to spend time with both of the great-grandmothers in Texas.

 


After a week in Texas, Justin went off to Kentucky to do his annual AP Exam grading.  We left Nate with the grandparents and Alina and I headed for South Carolina!

We got to spend a few days at the beach with our dear friends the Michauds.

We also had a few days in Lexington to visit friends.  It was good to spend time with the Waters:)

And I even got to see some of my former students, including Alex, graduate!

We then headed back to Texas to pick up Nate.  Before heading back to Colorado with Papa Ovi, we got to spend some time at Hawaiian Falls with Kinsey and Ben.

Then it was back to Colorado with Papa Ovi.  We took him just about everywhere we could in the couple of days he was here.

A couple of days later, Justin took me to an amazing bed and breakfast in
Steamboat Springs for my birthday!

It was such a fun month of traveling, but it is good to be home!
